McKesson approached us about doing an employee training video involving safe internet usage for the company. My role was bring the storyboard and graphics to life, making the video engaging, informative, and even humorous at some times. Some of the more challenging scenes in the video was the information map of the world at 0:28. For this I used a mask to animate the individual lines moving from one location to another, duplicated the layers 6-8 times and moved the timing of the layers to offset the animations. From there I precomposed all the line layers, added a solid layer overtop with a 4-colour gradient effect, and used an alpha matte to apply it to just the lines, and added a glow to make it pop. The final step in the video was collecting and implementing appropriate sound effects, and balancing it with the voice over.
